Hypocrisy in the Party of Family Values?

Ensign_1

Okay, everyone’s pretty used to Democrats and their wandering zippers.  But the party of “Family Values”?  Say it aint so!

I always tell people to watch where they’re throwing those stones from their glass houses.  This reminds me of Gary Conditt and a few others.

Nevada Sen. John Ensign, an emerging Republican leader who has been mentioned as a possible 2012 presidential candidate, apologized Tuesday for an extramarital affair with a former staff member but indicated that he had no plans to resign.

“It’s absolutely the worst thing I have ever done in my life,” he said at a televised news conference. “If there was ever anything that I could take back in my life, this would be it.”

Did someone threaten to spill the beans??:

It was unclear why Ensign made the disclosure so abruptly. He skipped a Senate vote related to tourism, his state’s lifeblood, and flew to Las Vegas for the hastily arranged news conference.

Ahhh… the sweet scent of hypocrisy:

The senator also could be vulnerable to charges of hypocrisy. He belongs to Promise Keepers, a Christian group whose members pledge, among other things, to abide by biblical principles to build strong marriages.

As a candidate for the Senate, Ensign demanded that President Clinton resign after having an affair with a White House intern. He also voted to impeach Clinton.

Years later, Ensign strongly suggested that Sen. Larry Craig resign in the wake of his arrest in a 2007 airport bathroom sex sting in Minneapolis. The Idaho Republican pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.

Ensign is a social conservative who opposes abortion and backs gun rights, but he won office by touting small-government principles, said Eric Herzik, who chairs the University of Nevada, Reno, political science department.

Listen, I’m not judging this man. I’m just saying that HE should be careful of whom HE judges! The Republican Party is becoming a complete joke! First they had an unethical, adulterous, bigamist like John McCain running for President. Then there’s people like John Ensign, David Vitter, Larry Craig,…. Come on! Cut it out! You’re NOT the party of family values!

I agree with you that it is not our place to judge him, but for crying out loud already!!!!!!!!
The party of “family values”- should just simply come to terms and accept they are now bonafide members of “the party of hypocrisy”.

Palin was and still is a walking contradiction of her said belief system…..which turned me off from her from the start. Alls one had to do, is a little research into her past and watch her continue to be that contradiciton of the “far right religious group she so wanted to represent” to see it.

Now comes this little gem- And a Promise Keepers member to boot! Wow- you can’t make this stuff up.
And Lette- it saddens me as I was what I would have considered to be a moderate Repulican until this last election.

It’s like the wheels are falling off in all different directions from that party, constantly!

I really feel that in some respects, this is why that party tries so hard to put spins on whatever the President is trying to do in a positive light- to take the attention off how totally messed up they really are.

Instead of focusing and working on other solutions to maybe what they don’t agree with the President on- it’s easier to sling mud- And boy- it’s a real bitch when it comes flying back at them, by their own hideous behaviors!

    Simply ASTOUNDING!

Again- so glad, even though I may not understand and agree with everything our President is doing- I am soooooo glad he is in that White House and not that other “dyanmic duo of hypocrisy”!lol!

  2. So true Ann! Every last one of these hypocritical zealots have skeletons in their closets. I’m strongly thinking about “officially” changing my party affiliation, but I don’t like that Independents can’t vote in primaries in my state!

  3. And it’s the same in Ohio- so I stay a registered Republican for now.
Excellent post- and can’t wait for the next “confession and apology to follow when caught” story comes out-
Never know what we will hear next! LOL!

It’s my naptime now(actually well past it, but I’m going to rest a bit) BBL! :)

  5. It’s all so insane.. they all need some serious therapy!! and to get the hell out of politics! As I see it the people who have all but ruined the profession are the worst hypocrits of all and just continue to spoil the whole political process!! I wish they’d all just disappear!!

  6. Promise Keepers??? Did he join it for appearance sake?

Sarah Palin defending Bristol and John Ensign in the same week — PERFECT examples of Republican family values. NOT!

Oh well, they have certainly screwed themselves into a deep ditch. Pun intended. :-)

    • LOL! A whole lot of “screwing” going on there!

      • Sorry I didn’t get back sooner. I had to take a nap. Heard earlier this evening on MSNBC that Ensign resigned. Do you know if I heard right, or was it another Republican caught with his pants down?

        • He resigned his position in the party, auntie. And there are undisclosed sources saying that he had an affair back in ’02 and that was why he cancelled several weeks of personal appearances, due to “family matters”.

“The disclosure resurrected questions about a two-week period in 2002, when Ensign abruptly dropped from public view. A person familiar with that episode, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said Tuesday the senator told a close associate the absence followed an earlier affair.”

          source:

          http://news.aol.com/article/ensign-admits-affair/529705

  7. HA! I thought he said he WASN’T resigning!

This goes to show that everyone makes mistakes. People should spend less time judging others. This came back to bite him right in his proverbial ASS!

  8. I just read the article ctlss posted above-lol! @ this statement
“Our families were close,” a weary-looking Ensign said. “That closeness put me into situations which led to my inappropriate behavior. We caused deep pain to both families and for that I am sorry.”

Their families were close???HA!- That’s an understatement!

Did you happened to notice the husband’s salary? There is a whole lot of waste going on in govt- and that salary is a great example.

    Simply amazing!

  9. Yes, I caught that about the son- good Lord-is this how we use taxpayer $$$$?
    Sickening.

  10. When will the hypocrisy of the Republican party end? They need to come into the 21st century. What makes them think they can get away with it, yet dog Dems for the same thing, (i.e. Newt after Clinton while doing the same)? Now Romney who put the healthcare system in Massachusetts, everyone must be insured, just like your car, yet now he is AGAINST national healthcare. Say it ain’t so Mitt, I campaigned for him for many of the reasons he now denies. I am an Independent and if I want to vote in a primary, I change to that party and on the way out back to Independent. You can only vote in one primary, though, which is fair.

  11. Ahhh. Those old “family values.” Ensign should have joined the Mormon cult in Texas. LOL.

  12. My sister married a moron, oops mormon and he is the biggest hypocrite I have ever met. She is my baby sister and I adored her, we no longer speak. He is a ‘minister’, he caused all the problems after we lost our parents (five children) and the family is now divided. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing out of Mitt’s mouth, he sure has changed from when he was our Governor and a good one at that. Where has Matinee Mitt gone?

    • I think that all Mormon men call themselves “ministers.” They qualify by putting a certain amount of hours into “missonary work” that includes knocking on doors recruitment .

Regarding Mitt, it was my impression that the far Christian right would not vote for a Mormon because they consider it a cult.

  13. Actually, the Ensign situation is a pattern of blackmail that goes on in D.C. The parties may change, but the scheme remains the same.

About 9 years ago, I spoke with a man named Ted Gunderson. You or some of you might remember my sharing about child sexual abuse cults? Well, I spoke with Ted as part of that research project.

Ted has now presented his investigative work on the web at http://educate-yourself.org/cn/gundersonreportchildsexualabuse.shtml

    In pertinent part, he wrote:
“Paul and other children told about youngsters, both male and female, being taken from orphanages, foster-homes, and Boys Town, Omaha, Nebraska, driven to Sioux City, Iowa (184 miles) and then flown to Washington, D.C. for sex orgy parties with dignitaries, congressmen, and high level public officials at Larry King’s Embassy Row condominium. Larry King rented this condominium for $5,000.00 per month while earning a salary of only $17,000 per year.

Bonacci told Gunderson (this writer) that pictures were taken at the parties by Rusty Nelson, Larry King’s personal photographer. According to Bonacci, many of the surreptitiously photographed public officials were thereafter blackmailed by Larry King and others.”

    ——————————-
It’s an interesting read. A late journalist was also of the impression that one of the White House press staff under Dubya was a man who was kidnapped as a child and became the elder Bush’s sex slave. That was a bit too much of a conspiracy theory for me to get into. However, the case of Lawrence E. King Jr. is documented.

  14. I didn’t know that Glenn Beck is Mormon.

  15. Auntie- whoa! This I had not heard of-sex slave parties? Good Lord, what is wrong with people?

    • Ann, as it was reported, Reagan was having dementia problems while President. The elder Bush, as VP, pretty much ran things in the WH and did whatever he wanted right under Reagan’s nose without Reagan knowing about it. Part of that was the child sex parties in the WH for the benefit ofVP George H. Bush. NOTE: Reagan was not part of neither had any knowledge of them.

It was said that not only was Lawrence King Jr. blackmailing politicians who were present at those parties, but also that George H. played a significant role in selecting who to invite making the blackmail possible.

      • Here’s more on that story:

Not only did King’s pedophile ring lead to the top echelons of the Republican Party it also lead to the top of the Bush administration and the Oval Office. Several of the children in Kings prostitution ring recount stories of seeing George Bush at some of King’s Parties. While an outsider would not suspect anything amiss, the children in the ring would know what was taking place. At least one of King’s young prostitutes reported that at one party, she saw George Bush pay King and then depart with a young black man. The President was a pedophile and involved in a pedophile ring, the story had to be squashed at all cost. King is currently serving fifteen years for the failure of the Franklin Credit Union. At least two of his victims have been wrongly imprisoned for refusing to recant their testimony. Meanwhile pedophiles like George Bush are free and able to abuse other children all in the name of national security.

  16. OMG-I agree with his 1st statement about organized religions- yet he turns around and gets into one of the biggest cult type controlling organized religous
messes??? Explains a lot about him…..He speaks about “love for people” and yet he conducts himself the way he does today- Astounding!

I’m speechless after watching this video!

  17. Auntie-Lette- When I get more time(the sewing machine is calling me!) I want to read more about this one! The elder Bush a pervert as well-my God is there no end to this?
Ugggggggh! And they present themselves as such “upstanding” individuals- Lord help me, I had not heard of this one, but will read more later. This is just too much!
Enjoy your day ladies! Catch up with you later!

    • Later Ann! This is disturbing news. I hadn’t heard of it either, but if you google it, boy can you find quite a bit on the story!

Thanks for the heads up Auntie! I used to think that the elder Bush was a good guy! Now I think I, personally, prefer dubya!

  18. Ann, have a great day. Lette, no need to thank me for the info. When they came out with “Family Values,” I remembered Ted Gunderson and his investigation. Lots of people lost their lives trying to expose that.

Lunch time — have to go out and find a dead animal with mustard, onions and relish. :-)

  19. Lette, this absolutely appalling. I cannot believe that this has been covered up the way it has. Where is the outrage????? If this was President Clinton, can you even begin to imagine?? It sickens me to think that these sick, psychotic bastards are in our society, let alone in the upper eschelons of government.

  20. Lette, about Dubya — the late Sherman Skolnick reported that Johnny Gosch, (whose kidnapping led to Ted Gunderson’s involvement in investigating “the ring,”) worked under another identity in Dubya’s WH media Dept., and was his “boy toy.”

Skolnick is the journalist who was responsible for exposing Greylord and also for pursuing an investigation that sent Illinois Governor Kerner to prison. That case propelled John Paul Stevens’ nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. http://www.skolnicksreport.com/

I knew Skolnick personally. In his later years, he was called a conspiracy theorist. However, his investigative skills never diminished with his age. What happened is that he became more selective in presenting “evidence,” not wanting to be murdered.

His dilemna was that he had a heart problem that landed him in the hospital shortly after he filed a suit against none other than Hillary Clinton. Sherman told a close friend that he was being poisoned. Before anyone knew it, a court had appointed a guardian for Sherman, and all of his research material was immediately removed from his house.

The following site has somewhat of a balanced view on the theory that Johnny Gosch changed his identity to Jeff Cannon then Jim Guckert.

    http://www.apfn.net/Messageboard/04-10-05/discussion.cgi.62.html

Actually, the entire story is too much for me to fully absorb, although I remember pieces and parts, such as the child sexual abuse cults. If not for the “Family Values” hypocrisy, I would not have remembered what Ted Gunderson fereted out about the GOP.

Btw, Ted Gunderson worked for the FBI as a special agent, running the Los Angeles office, so he’s not small peanuts with no credibility.

    • Are you saying that Dubya had a “boy toy” also???

      • It gets deeper.

Google George W. Bush, Victor Ashe and Skull and Bones. Ashe was Dubya’s roommate at Yale, and purportedly has documented history including arrests for picking up homosexual prostitutes. His friendship with Dubya carried on while he was mayor of Knoxville, TN, and when he campaigned for senator.

And, if I remember correctly, Dubya appointed Ashe to the Board of Directors for Fannie Mae.

  21. Good Lord:

Specifically, there is evidence that George W. Bush has on-going sexual relations with a fellow Skull and Bones member (Victor Ashe) who was George W. Bush’s roommate at Yale. You will note in The Atlantic article quoted earlier how “in 1984 Bush flew to Tennessee to accompany the Republican Senate nominee and Bonesman (’67) Victor Ashe on a seven-city tour.” Victor Ashe- besides having been a fellow Skull and Bones member, roommate and cheerleader with George W. Bush – has a public reputation of being a sodomite in Knoxville, Tennessee where he is mayor.

    http://www.puritans.net/news/bush022403.htm

  22. Even more disturbing than George W. Bush’s close ties with Victor Ashe past and present are multiple allegations of homosexual relations coming from former Secret Service agents who worked for the Presidential Administration. Skolnicks’ Reports, which is linked from Puritan News Weekly, chronicles this testimony.

  23. This is ridiculous! People went so far trying to implicate President Obama in a homosexual affair. Yet, I’ve never heard a peep about these scandals involving the Bushes! And it’s not even about the homosexuality. It’s about the hypocrisy, appointments, law-breaking, pedophilia,….

    • Right, it’s not about the homosexuality at all. The hypocrisy is what also gets to me, and the part of using children is very disturbing. The deaths of those who had evidence is also disturbing, because it means that the Senior Bush thought nothing of approving the taking of lives in order to keep things quiet.

It’s not quiet, but you almost have to have known about or followed it from the early 90′s when Gunderson first made the info public.

      • I don’t recall this EVER making it to the mainstream media!

        • Yep. The most that the mainstream media reported was the disappearance of Johnny Gosch. Then too, that was mostly limited to media in Iowa. I think at one point, John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted reported on the disappearance.

When (oh, what’s her name? The woman who was involved with Gary Condit, Chandra Levy?) first disappeared, Walsh also wrote about there being a serial killer in D.C. But, major media kept that quiet.

Walsh has also reported on his website about Satanic cults and their abuse and sometimes murder of children. The networks would not allow him to air that.

        • Sad! This is pertinent information!

  24. Btw, when Bush was campaigning and said things about “Christian values,” and the Moral Majority supported him, it caused me to gag. I thought if they only knew ….

    • I guess I should have been blogging back then. Heck, that’s how I found out about the Keating 5, long before the primaries were in full swing!

      • This would have been long before blogging became popular. I remember meeting a man who goes by “Tom of Venice” at a taping of a cable television program. He’s a VERY interesting person. In Nov 1999 during “the chad” controversy in Florida, Tom predicted that if Bush was confirmed to win the election, that America would be in Iraq within 2 years. His reason was based on documents he had and had read that the Senior Bush had already instructed Jr. to do so in retaliation for Saddam threatening to kill Bush senior.

Not only that, but Saddam had threatened to expose the joint bank account that the Bushes have with the Queen of England. There was more of the story involving how English royalty descended from Jews and wanted Israel to return under British control.

And, Tom presented the bank documents on cable television. Whether they were authentic or not, I don’t know, but it became more credible when my interest was peeked by the start of Persian Gulf II.

It was said that if you want to know the truth concerning threats against Israel, don’t watch the Middle East, but watch Great Britain instead and how they respond to those threats.

  25. Bonacci sued Lawrence King Jr., and was award a million dollars by the court, further verifying the child sexual abuse cult that provided the WH with children.

I have a copy of the actual complaint, and judgment of the court. Although I must point out that the case was decided by default. King failed to file anything, and that is considered as pleading all allegations as true.

Was it reported nationwide? No. You would have only found it reported in the Des Moines Register until the internet made it “public information.”

    http://www.raven1.net/ra1.htm

    • My goodness! Now the guy is suffering with a personality disorder. I don’t understand why he mentioned Barney Frank’s name though. It didn’t seem to have anything to do with the complaint!

      • It says the following:
“And this guy–every time I see him on TV, my wife knows my hatred for him…His name is Barney Frank.”

When asked if he [had]“relationships” with him, Bonacci replied, “In
        Washington, D.C. …”

  26. http://www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=25516

This guy was captured. It’s a case involving rape and sodomy of a child — a “web exclusive,” meaning, that Walsh was not allowed to air it on his program.

  27. About the multiple personalities — it’s intentional so that each personality can be programmed. Generally, “trigger words” or “trigger touches” are assigned to each personality, so those controlling the person know how to get the personality they want.

The problem is that the triggers work regardless of who says or uses them. That causes the person to display very erratic behavior.

    • That’s terrible!

      • I’ve spoken with Ellen P. Lacter, Ph.D., who was actually the person who put me in touch with Ted Gunderson. She is a professor at the University of California in San Diego.

        Her website is:
        http://www.endritualabuse.org/

If you ever want a mind blowing experience hearing about this, email me and I’ll give you her phone number. It was too much for me to endure — a helpless feeling — but worth getting the info. The methods used are worth knowing because recognizing them helps detect deception in communicating with those who are victims of this. And, I do mean victims who are still operating according to their program.

I noticed some of the methods used in ireports by certain individuals.

  28. In the 90′s when news first began to break about multiple personalities and child sexual abuse, an organization called False Memory Syndrome Foundation formed to fight against those exposing the abuse. If I remember correctly, they began suing some of the PROFESSIONAL individuals who had tested and documented patients they had treated.

  29. Well Auntie, this information is startling to say the least.

I’m turning in now. I’ll have to catch up with you later! Good night, dear friend!

  30. Good night to you too, dear friend. Fridays are my early start days, so I should be turning in too.

Btw, an indicator of a person who has been mind controlled is using art depicting watching eyes. Hahaha.

  31. Before I turn in for the night, here’s something about Barney Frank, published in Time magazine in 1989. The article also mentions Ohio Republican Donald Lukens who was convicted for having sex with a 16 year old.

    http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,958598,00.html

  32. http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE55N3GZ20090624
Geeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzz………..Lette, if I had the time – I’d be posting a one about this nonsense…..it’s apparently a prerequiste to be part of that party at this point-one week later- and here we are……another……but at this point-maybe they think we’ll accept this poor behavior as our new “family values”………YUK!

  33. And by all means- feel free to discuss this one-I’ll be happy to jump in when I get a free moment- this is truly crazy!
